As of today, my most ambitious project ever is finally released.

In my YouTube Videos I've talked a bit about how challenging the music industry has been for me. I have a few jobs, yet most of the time I'm barely scraping by. I don't have a team of writers and producers. I don't even have a manager or label to help me with the administrative work. Literally every single aspect of this album has been my own hard work and lost sleep. I'm still in disbelief that it's out.

As recently as 2019, I was unhoused and staying in a coworker's unfinished basement with everything I owned tucked away in a handful of cardboard boxes. I held onto my clothes, a mattress, a bedside table, a lamp, and my studio gear. No matter how bad things got, I never sold my music equipment. I've never given up, even when it meant I couldn't eat when I was hungry or go to the doctor when I was sick.

This past year, things are finally settling down for me (yes, even with COVID). I've learned strategies for my Bipolar disorder, stayed sober (clean from heroin since 2012!), and learned some hard lessons along the way. But now, my living situation is more stable than it's ever been. I even have a real studio that isn't just a desk in the corner of my bedroom! I finally have the time, energy, and space for music, and I've been savoring every moment.

Some of the songs on The Comfortable Dark are 5+ years old. Some of them are from this year. All of them I'm very very proud of. I usually hate self promotion and hyping up my own work, so please believe me when I say that this album is worth your time. Yes, every single song. It's the best of the best from my past 5 years of writing music in closets, basements, and bathrooms, and it would mean the world to me if you checked it out.

Like I said, I have no team, no money, and almost no time. I'm counting on you to get the word out. Even if you just show one person, it helps more than you know! Any post or shout-out is so meaningful.
